ISO 9001 certificate received
Oy Botnia Marin has been certified according to the ISO 9001:2008 standards – an international recognition of high level of quality and customer focus in business.
"The certification was the end result of a 2,5 year long process of refining internal and external systems, responsibilities and teamwork. It is truly a sincere commitment to quality," says Managing Director Johan Carpelan. "The most important thing now is not to stop and rest now when we have received the certificate, but to continue to strive forwards and upwards in our quality work”.
The final stage was cleared after a review by an external auditor. "We are very proud that we had a nearly flawless audit, and that it was done according to the newest 2008 version", says Production Development Manager Henrik Masus who has been working for some two years with the work towards a certification. “We have not been forcing the certification process. Instead we have allowed a lot of time and involved everyone in the company – from the factory floor right up to the top management level – in the process We will continue to work closely together with our dealers and end-customers in order to also in the future provide the highest level of quality, performance and practical handling. The ISO 9001 is providing a strong frame work for doing this in a structured way”, says Johan Carpelan.
